What strikes me is not only that the Modern Liberal is so stunningly stupid but that he knows it.  He is well aware of his infantile mentality and, in fact, often proudly embraces the teachings of the bestselling book All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.  One of the clearest examples of this self-awareness is found in the leftist-penned, leftist-produced and leftist-starring classic, Forrest Gump.
